Latest news:	The registration desk is located directly in the entrance area of the MPI and is open from Wednesday December 11 at 1 pm. The Book of Abstracts is available online. A printed version will be handed out at the beginning of the workshop. Program is online. Optional joint dinner on Tuesday December 10 at 7 pm at Wenzel Prager Bierstuben, Leiterstraße 3, 39104 Magdeburg.

Scientific topics:	This workshop of the BMBF research network MoreSim4Nano aims to bring together researchers and users of model order reduction techniques with special emphasis on applications in micro- and nanoelectronics. Contributions from other areas such as computational electromagnetics, mechanical systems, computational fluid dynamics and related disciplines are welcome. The topics include (but are not limited to) Model Order Reduction, Uncertainty Quantification.
Invited speakers:	Karl Meerbergen (KU Leuven) Jan S. Hesthaven (EPF Lausanne) Romanus Dyczij-Edlinger (Universität des Saarlandes)
Contributions:	Talks: 20 minutes (plus 5 minutes discussion) We will provide laptop (Adobe Reader 11 and PowerPoint 2010) and data projector for the presentation.
Important dates:	Deadlines: October 1st, 2013: Submission of abstracts via WWW. (extended to October 7th, 2013) November 8th, 2013: Registration via WWW. The Abstracts are available at the list of participants and in the program. Furthermore a booklet will be handed out at the beginning of the workshop.
Satellite meetings:	MOR wiki meeting: December 10, 4:30 pm (open for everybody who is interested). MoreSim4Nano final meeting: December 11, 11:30 am. Model Reduction for Mechanical Systems Meeting: December 11, morning.
Location & Accommodation:	The ModRed 2013 will take place at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg. Special arrangements have been made for accommodation with Hotel Ratswaage, and Hotel Sleep & Go. See Location & Accommodation for details.
Conference fee:	120 EUR by banktransfer in advance, before November 8th, 2013 (including the conference dinner on Wednesday at the L~BE)
