Research
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the CSC research team. My main research focus is the combination of model order reduction and design optimization. Working with Suzhou Li, Lihong Feng and Peter Benner, I am currently studying design optimization of simulated moving beds arising from chemical engineering.Before I came to MPI-Magdeburg, I obtained my bachlor degree in electornics in 2005 (Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, P.R.China), my master degree in IC design in 2008 (Tsinghua University, Beijing, P.R.China, under the supervision of Prof. Hongyi Chen and Prof. Guoqiang Bai), and my PhD degree in applied mathematics in 2012 (KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Karl Meerbergen).
