New appointments: GAMM Activity Group RSE & RDM

LogoThe international association for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics set up a new activity group on research software engineering and research data management in mathematics and mechanics at this year's general assembly. This was in response to a proposal by Jens Saak (CSC), Robert Speck (FZ Jülich) and Jan Philipp Thiele (TU Braunschweig). The constituent workshop is planned for the end of the year. Exact dates are currently being determined in a survey among the founding members.
